Andor was born in a small Hungarian city, Szeged where he finished his basic education but after all that the music placed him somewhere else. He moved to Budapest and there he studied the double bass.

Andor was unsatisfied with his musical approach and level of playing at the end of his study years. He was seeking to achieve more and decided to move to The Netherlands where attended to the jazz studies at the Royal Conservatory of Holland.

During and after his studies Andor was joining several musical projects, recordings and tours with different ensembles of different genres of music.

Andor keeps going on with his musical journey, improvement, looks forward to new challenges, experiments for a better and newer experience.

His fresh, deep, groovy double bass playing and his open mind is searching constantly for new challenges and for stretching the boundaries.

He created his own sound and his unique way of playing to become a spiritual beast of the double bass. Andor is a real and powerful MMA (Mixed Musical Artist), coming from ethno folk traditions what he spices up with the blues, New Orleans.
His love and his aesthetics for real jazz wins him the title: MMA.
